Virtual Dine Around Trio Bistro – July 20, 2020

Chers Confreres:

I would like to invite you to our July Chaine event, a Vitual Dine Around with carryout cuisine provided by Trio Bistro in Kenwood on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 6:30 PM.  If you attended our first virtual dinner on June 8 with Forno providing the food you know these can be fun events and they’re even better if you’ve been reluctant to venture out and starving for a little camaraderie with your fellow Chaine members.  The June event lasted 2 hours and everyone enjoyed the chance to catch up.  If you want to attend you must make your reservations by Friday, July 17, 2020.  Guests are welcome to attend.

The 4-course menu is as follows:

First Course

Soup – Choice of Gazpacho, Vegetable or Chicken Noodle

Second Course

Chef’s Choice Salad

Third Course

Filet Served with Vegetable, Potatoes

Fourth Course

Dessert – Carrot Cake or Cheesecake

For non meat eaters Salmon may be substituted for the Filet.  If you have any other dietary restrictions please let them know at the time of your order.  Time will be provided between courses to allow you to reheat and instructions for each course will be provided.

Please choose your usual quality bottle(s) of wine for this Virtual Dine Around.  If you wish, you can talk about your choice.  This will be a time when you can brag that your wine was in fact “the best” of the evening!

Dress for this event will be Quarantine Casual.

Your dinner is $65 per person inclusive of tax and service charges and must be ordered no later than Friday, July 17, 2020. Payment must be made via credit card directly to the restaurant at the time of your order. Please either email or call Carla at Trio at: carla@triobistro.com or 513-332-3001.  You must pick up your order on Monday, July 20 between 4:00 – 6:00 PM. After placing your order please let me know by email and I will send you the Zoom link.  If you haven’t already downloaded the Zoom app for your computer or tablet please do so prior to the event.

Please plan on having your first course ready by our starting time which is 6:30 PM on Monday, July 20.   If you can’t make it at 6:30 just join in anytime after that.

Welcome to the Cincinnati Bailliage of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs!

Chaîne Cincinnati includes local businessmen and women, doctors, lawyers, chefs, wine distributors and retailers as well as others in the food and wine fields. Our Bailliage unites professional and amateur gastronomes in a private, not-for-profit society committed to promoting the culinary arts and those of enology and hospitality through example, education and camaraderie.

As an example, we foster the development of the culinary arts among our community's promising chefs by contributing to the Cincinnati Freestore Foodbank’s culinary education program called Cincinnati Cooks. We raise money for this purpose by asking for voluntary donations from our members annually, holding an annual wine auction and having special fundraising events.

Additionally, the Cincinnati Chaîne is home to an active chapter of Société Mondiale du Vin, an organization dedicated to enjoying and learning about the world of fine wine and spirits. Over the last few years our members have toured internationally renowned wine destinations to further their understanding of those areas and their wines.

The Bailliage de Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Cincinnati is affiliated with the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage des Etats-Unis (United States Chapter), which is associated with the International Headquarters in Paris.
