While the beautifully restored Art-Deco-styled Hilton Netherland Plaza served as the center of the Chaîne’s Midwest Chapitre activities, the real highlight took place on Friday evening with an enchanting dine-around event at the American Sign Museum.
The 125 members and their guests, representing 10 Bailliages, were transported back in time when neon signs of all shapes and sizes reigned supreme. Local food favorites like cheese coneys and Graeter’s ice cream were big hits as was the quality and diversity of the wines supplied by members.
