Dine Around at Marigold – April 13, 2026

I would like to invite you to the Chaîne’s April event, a Dine Around at Marigold on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 6:00 PM.  Marigold is the newest member of the Crown Restaurant Group (think Losanti, Five, Rosie’s Italian, Crown Republic, Crown Cantina) whose restaurants all have a distinct themed cuisine and decor.  Marigold is an English-style public house with a fusion of British and Indian cuisines and their very talented Executive Chef is Megan Yung who has put together the very delicious menu shown below.

Deadline for reserving for this event will be Friday, April 3, 2026. Reservations are limited to only 85 so get your reservations in before it fills up.

And, as with all Dine Arounds, you are requested to bring one bottle of QUALITY wine per person attending (two bottles per couple).  Our guide for selecting the proper wine and Dine Around etiquette is attached for your reference. 

The menu is as follows:

  Passed Hors d’oeuvres 

Batata Vada – Yukon potato and masala onion fritter

Tartare Cups

Malabar Shrimp

First Course

Pachadi Salad 

Carrot, peanuts, corn, pomegranate, arugula 

Second Course

Beef & Guinness Pie , served in a house-made crust

Guinness braised beef, carrot, onion, celery 

Vegetarians and Pescatarians would get pistachio pesto pasta.

 Dessert

 Mini Sticky Toffee Puddings

The reception begins at 6:00 PM and dinner at 6:45 PM. 

Dress is Business Casual with Ribbons.

Marigold is located at 60 W. Fifth Street in Downtown between Vine and Race streets.  Paid valet parking is available at the corner of Fifth and Race in front of Mita’s and paid parking is available in surrounding garages as well as on the street.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

As with all Dine Arounds we will handle the reservations and $90 per person payment and we can take your payment with pay pal or credit card through the links below whether you are reserving for one person or two.  If reserving for 3 just use a combination of the two. We also accept payment through Venmo (@Chaine-Cincinnati) (preferred) or by check. If paying by check, please send it to Ray Vanderhorst, 1415 Herschel Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45208 and please email him at vanderhorst.ray@gmail.com that you are doing so. Make your reservations before the Friday, April 3, 2026 deadline.

Welcome to the Cincinnati Bailliage of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs!

Chaîne Cincinnati includes local businessmen and women, doctors, lawyers, chefs, wine distributors and retailers as well as others in the food and wine fields. Our Bailliage unites professional and amateur gastronomes in a private, not-for-profit society committed to promoting the culinary arts and those of enology and hospitality through example, education and camaraderie.

As an example, we foster the development of the culinary arts among our community's promising chefs by contributing to the Cincinnati Freestore Foodbank’s culinary education program called Cincinnati Cooks. We raise money for this purpose by asking for voluntary donations from our members annually, holding an annual wine auction and having special fundraising events.

Additionally, the Cincinnati Chaîne is home to an active chapter of Société Mondiale du Vin, an organization dedicated to enjoying and learning about the world of fine wine and spirits. Over the last few years our members have toured internationally renowned wine destinations to further their understanding of those areas and their wines.

The Bailliage de Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Cincinnati is affiliated with the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage des Etats-Unis (United States Chapter), which is associated with the International Headquarters in Paris.
