Chers Confreres:
I would like to invite you to the Chaîne’s March event, a Dine Around at Truva Turkish Kitchen in Kenwood with Reception at Genesis Diamonds (next door) on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM. Our member, Chevalier David Cooper, Vice President of Genesis Diamonds, came to us with a fundraising opportunity for the Freestore Foodbank that involves one of his favorite restaurants and neighbor in Kenwood, Truva Turkish Kitchen. He offered to host a predinner reception that will not only be fun but also raise money through a raffle that supports the Cincinnati Cooks and Second Course chef training programs at the Freestore Foodbank. Following the reception we will enjoy a wonderful Turkish menu (See Below) at Truva which is right next door.
This is how the raffle, or Ice Cube Smash, will work. Limited to only 50 cubes, you have the chance to win a 3 carat Lab Grown Diamond in the shape of your choice! For $50 per cube (plus $2 processing fee), you get to “smash” the cube and if you’re lucky enough to have the real gem inside you win! Every cube has some sort of colorless gem inside so you cannot tell visually, so test your luck and make a donation that benefits the Freestore Foodbank. Limited to 50 cubes, 2 per person only, must be present at dinner to win,100% of the proceeds will be donated. To purchase your cube in advance please go to the following link:
