Kitchen Dedication at Midwest Culinary Institute (March 17, 2018)

One of the most anticipated events of the 2018 Midwest Chapitre was the dedication of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Kitchen at Cincinnati State’s Midwest Culinary Institute (MCI) where Chaîne representatives, including Bailli Délégué Hal Small, were on hand for this significant occasion.

Kitchen Donation

This dedication is part of a Chaîne initiative to partner with culinary schools around the world to raise the awareness of the Chaîne and its mission.  Along with the ceremonial ribbon cutting, another aspect of this partnership is the presentation of a check to be used for scholarships for MCI’s culinary students to help educate the young chefs of the future.

To date, the Cincinnati Bailliage has raised over $61,000 for these scholarships. A lasting reminder of the Chaîne is also presented in a display of various Chaîne ribbons and memorabilia which will be viewed on a daily basis by the student chefs.
